Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Arduino Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining the electronic components of our escape rooms, ensuring that all of the puzzles and challenges are functioning correctly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build electronic circuits using Arduino and other microcontrollers
- Troubleshoot and repair electronic components when issues arise
- Integrate electronic puzzles into the game flow
- Maintain an inventory of electronic components and order new supplies as necessary
- Stay up to date with the latest Arduino technologies and incorporate them into our escape rooms
- Manage the setup and takedown of electronic components during game resets
- Ensure that all electronic components are safe and meet industry standards
Requirements:
- Experience with Arduino programming and circuit design
- Knowledge of basic electronics, such as resistors, capacitors, and diodes
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work during weekends and holidays as needed
- Good communication skills and ability to work well under pressure
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with other microcontrollers, such as Raspberry Pi or ESP32
- Familiarity with 3D printing and laser cutting
