We seek a driven individual to join Radernie Low Secure Unit, which is a dynamic multidisciplinary team,
Radernie Ward is a 10 bedded unit with an additional step-down unit providing recovery & rehabilitation focussed care to a population of male patients within a forensic framework.
You will be a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, adopting a pro-active approach to delivering therapeutic recovery care working alongside Registered Nurses, Occupational Therapists and other members of the multidisciplinary team to a patient group of highly complex individuals, who experience a range of mental health problems which impacts on their day to day functioning.
You will be expected to contribute to the delivery of care in a person centered manner following guidance and direction from registered members of the team alongside maintaining the standards required for the needs of the forensic service in line with safety and security.

If successful in your application, you will be offered the opportunity to undertake an SVQ2 or SVQ3 (dependent on band) in Health and Social Care, approximately 9 months after taking up post. It is expected that you complete this qualification, which will be fully funded by NHS Fife. Your Line Manager will provide you with more information once you are in post.
