Job description
We are looking for someone with exceptional customer service and meticulous attention to detail and good availability (particularly weekends) to be games hosts at Clue HQ, Harrogate's first Live Escape Game! Applicants must be 18+.

You will greet guests as they arrive, brief them before their game, and support them throughout their game by sending on screen messages to ensure they have an outstanding experience during their visit.
Excellent customer service is an absolute must for this role, so we are looking for someone warm, friendly and outgoing and fun. Ensuring our customers have an amazing experience is our number 1 priority. We have superb ratings so far on Trip Advisor, Google and Facebook, so having the right person to maintain and develop our excellent reputation is extremely important to us.
You must also have meticulous attention to detail, as you will prepare all the puzzles and props within in the game to used for the customers, and reset the room perfectly after a game has been played in preparation for the arrival of the next guests. You will also be required to undertake other general housekeeping duties.
You must be reliable, punctual, trustworthy and honest. You will have a minimum of 12 months experience in a directly customer facing role.
As the right personality is very important to the role, it will be a 2 stage application process. First of all we need your CV and covering letter by email. Then, if selected for the next stage, you will be required to come for an interview and a task to determine your suitability for the role.
Hours will be on a casual basis based on your availability for when bookings have been made, but mainly on weekends. The successful candidate must have good availablity at weekends as they are our busiest times, but it would be advantageous if you had good general availability. Due to the ad-hoc nature of the hours, the job may suit someone who works flexibly from home, or even someone who is semi-retired looking for a fun and exciting job to gain an extra income.
Our opening hours are 10am - 10pm daily, so the position may also appeal to students or people with a part time job looking for extra hours. The pay will be £10.42 with a pay review in 6 months.
Experience is not essential as full training will be provided. If you have never played an escape room before this won't count against you.

COVID-19 considerations:
All staff and customers sanitise hands on entry. Staff to sanitise hands and every prop and surface when resetting games. Communal areas sanitised at regular intervals in line with Risk Assessment.
