ERDF Project Administrative Support Officer (Health Innovation Campus)
Lancaster University is delivering an exciting new project, supporting the development of the Health Innovation Campus (HIC), which opened in spring 2020 and is seeking to make an appointment to the role of ERDF Project Administrative Support Officer.
The new £41m Health Innovation Campus (HIC) at Lancaster University will make a major contribution towards tackling some of the significant health challenges we face today.
Through a £4 million revenue project part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) we are supporting over 450 businesses, charities, and social enterprises to develop health ideas into innovative products and services. We deliver support via innovation workshops and seminars, technical prototyping and innovation programmes.
The Project Administrative Support Officer will work with closely with the Project Manager to maintain robust monitoring and reporting systems that ensure the project complies with strict ERDF guidelines. You will also be responsible for supporting the management of the financial transactions and timesheets for the project.
Successful candidates should have excellent communication and administration skills including the ability to multi-task and good attention to detail, experience using Excel is key to the role. Experience in working with European Funds and a knowledge and interest in entrepreneurship and small-medium-sized enterprises of diverse backgrounds is also desirable.
Highly organised and with an eye for detail, you will have experience of working cohesively in a busy team environment and managing multiple priorities. The role provides an excellent opportunity to join the Higher Education sector, within a flagship project and a highly acclaimed university.
This post is subject to funding being awarded by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund Programme 2014-2020 and is offered on a fixed term basis until 29th September 2023 in the first instance.
There is the option for this role to be part time or a job share may be considered.
