Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint an Epidemiologist (Analyst Specialist) in the Health Protection Division in Public Health Wales NHS Trust.The post holder will work in the Communicable Disease Surveillance Centre based at Number 2 Capital Quarter, in central Cardiff, specialising in Blood borne viruses, sexual health, TB and inequalities, including inclusion health groups.
The post holder will help develop surveillance systems, provide analytical support during outbreaks, respond to ad-hoc requests from stakeholders and work on service based research as required. Although the post holders will lead on the routine report production and development of their subject area, there will be the need to work across a number of infectious disease subject areas and programmes of work as required.
