A Snapshot of Your Day
The Apprentice Environmental Advisor will work with theSiemens Energy Transmission Environment team and project delivery teams tocontribute to the goals of achieving no harm to the environment, reducing the carbonimpact of our solutions and having a positive impact on local communities. Thiswill be achieved by inspiring and influencing others to see the benefit ofworking responsibly, understanding the legal framework, and showing howenvironmental management can enhance operational activities.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Identify significant environmental impacts onand assist in the set-up of appropriate controls.
- Assist in reviewing and checking theeffectiveness of the implementation of the Environmental Management System(EMS).
- Develop and deliver training (e.g., trainingpackages for critical environmental topics including toolbox talks, guidancenotes & inductions).
- Assist in the implementation of environmentalcampaigns and continuous improvement initiatives, by raising awareness andengaging employees.
- Support the Environment Team in the investigationof accidents and incidents.
- Assist in the development of new tools forimproved efficiency in managing environmental issues.
- Analyse environmental data and producecomprehensive reports.
- Present findings to the management team andother key stakeholders.
What You Bring
- 3 A-Levels or equivalent level 3 qualification
- Ability to establish strong relationships withinternal and external stakeholders
- Be open, honest, respectful and reliable.
- Be enthusiastic and passionate when adhering tocompany values and engaging in your personal development.
- Be attentive and reactive to detail
- Be self-motivated to develop and learn
- Strong Microsoft Office and general IT ability
