Environmental & Sustainability Advisor Henstridge £34,000 - £38,000 P/A Full Time | | 40-hour week Are you currently working in an environmental or sustainability role? Do you hold a NEBOSH certificate or IEMA Diploma? Attega Group is currently working with our client who were founded over 70 years ago and are looking for a strong Environmental & Sustainability Advisor to join their team. This role will involve working with a dedicated health & safety team to ensure a consistent approach to environmental requirements across all sites in England. In return, our client is offering a basic salary of up to £38,000 P/A and various company benefits including annual salary reviews, life insurance, increasing holiday entitlement, private medical healthcare and more! This is a 40-hour working Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. Duties for this role will include: Working with the Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to ensure compliance with legislative requirements, to update relevant policies and procedures and maintain company compliance, Collecting required data and information for energy management and opportunities for improvement, Communicating and implementing workplace environmental risk assessments, Producing and delivering environmental training courses, Carrying out site environmental inspections, recording observations, near misses & incidents. The ideal candidate must have previous experience working in a similar role and hold a NEBOSH certificate or IEMA Diploma. You will also ideally have experience developed from within a manufacturing environment and any experience dealing with waste packaging regulations and Net Zero requirements would be a huge advantage. You will also need to have excellent administration skills and a willingness to continue learning in the field.
