We are currently seeking to recruit for an Environmental Scientist to join us here at Aqua Consultants where you will report to our Natural Assets Scientist.
Role:
Supporting on the development and delivery of key client frameworks and projects leading to positive environmental sustainability outcomes. The role is within the utilities sector with a water industry focus. It will uniquely provide the right candidate a high level of autonomy to pursue and deliver on key environmental sustainability challenges facing society, industry and our clients. The individual will have the opportunity to meaningfully contribute to a growing team within a dynamic and multidisciplinary organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Task, project and programme deliverables dependent on client need and may includeDesktop research and write up.
- Client report writing
- Conducting environmental sustainability assessments and calculations.
- Presentations – internal and external
- Communications and meeting attendance when required with clients and third parties such as regulators or delivery partners.
- Production of H&S risk assessments
- Site visits and surveys
- Independent, remote and home working as and when needed
