About Us:

Play your part in the transformation of a high-profile London borough.

At the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, we are focused on putting our residents and local businesses at the heart of every decision. From the policy decisions that we're making through to the services that we’re delivering, it’s vital that we put the needs of our community first. We want to give everyone a great quality of life, with access to a comfortable home, sustainable and desirable employment options, and the chance to live and work in a healthy and safe environment. And our Housing Management services play a vital part in achieving these goals.

The Role:

You’ll provide crucial assistance across our environmental, landscape and built environment surveying. This includes maintaining contract and project information, managing appointments and diaries, and acting as a key point of contact for the Estate Improvement Team’s issues. You’ll be helping reshape our borough’s estates for the better, but also improving thousands of residents’ lives in the process.

The role is highly varied and challenging. Working with our driven, highly dedicated team, you’ll ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of our Estate Improvement Project activities. On top of your other duties, you’ll help monitor budgets, formulate programmes of work and maintain our databases.

Please refer to the Job Description for more information.

About You:

You’ll need previous administrative experience. This includes skills in database management, organising meetings, filing and basic project management. Good communications skills and resilience are also important.

You’ll also have experience dealing with the public, supervising others and adhering to regulations. A wide knowledge base (ideally including CRM and IBC) is vital, along with good organisational skills. You should have a degree or a degree-level qualification in an appropriate subject.

In return, you can look forward to a package that includes a competitive salary, a high-quality pension scheme, generous annual leave and excellent learning and development opportunities.
