Environmental Health and Safety Engineer
Location: Lincoln UK
To be the focal point on all EHS related matters in their respective area of operation within the SGT Business.
A Snapshot of Your Day
To be the focal point on Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) related matters in their respective area of operation. Dedicated to the delivery of EHS requirements for all areas of the SGT business. Will play a vital role in the development of Environmental awareness and ownership. Will share the responsibility of overall development of processes and the introduction of new systems and concepts to deliver effective Energy reduction at source.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Encourage an awareness of the importance of EHS within all areas of the business.
- Will be instrumental in the completion of all EHS risk assessments and awareness of EHS ownership.
- Key involvement with implementation of EHS standards, policies and procedures.
- To Monitor and support management in the continual improvement and positive safety culture under the Zero Harm initiative.
- Provide process users with support for compliance with legislation.
What You Bring
NEBOSH Certificate.- 2 years minimum experience with EHS responsibilities.
- EHS NVQ 3 or equivalent Qualification.
- Internal Auditor
- Good product knowledge
- Good communicator
- Good influencing skills
