Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide strategic input on various internal and external initiatives involving air and GHG emissions
- Collaborate with the Operations Environmental teams, Regional Operations, Fleet Engineering, Business Development, and Maintenance and Reliability to manage the submittal of compliance reports including NSPS, Subpart W, Emission Event, OOOO, and OOOOa and other required reports.
- Manage and execute the preparation of EPA Subpart W reports for various assets including sourcing data, summarizing emissions, and reduction opportunities
- Develop and implement environmental compliance programs and tools in accordance with federal and state regulations or internal company requirements (e.g. NSPS JJJJ, NSPS OOOO/OOOOa, NESHAPs ZZZ, etc).
- Prepare complex air permit applications for oil and gas facilities
- Gather, maintain, and analyze datasets to monitor and calculate emissions. Continuously improves data quality and integrity.
- Collaborate with Technical Services and Operations Performance Management teams to automate data compilation from company locations, databases, and applications to analyze asset-specific throughput, and environmental compliance data points.
- Partner with Technical Services and Field Operations teams to confirm regulation applicability analysis for Major Maintenance projects and new equipment acquisitions and construction for current compression units and station sites.
- Evaluate, purchase, and troubleshoot Catalytic Converter, Muffler, AFR design and provide support for contract quoting including Engine Pedigree approval
- Advise and potentially represent the Company in dealings with agencies (federal, state, and local), trade associations, and other partners.
- Solve unique and complex problems and develop solutions for changing regulatory environment at the state and local level and advise on technical standards
- Collect and submit information for routine and sophisticated regulatory permits, authorizations, and reports, including emission event reporting and respond to agency inquiries
- Provide strategic input on various internal and external initiatives around GHG and Air emissions
- Master the use of tools and technology associated with air emissions management (i.e., FLIR camera, EPA electronic reporting tools, performance testing protocols/procedures, automation/metering and other data collection, sample collection and analytical methods)
- Communicate environmental technical knowledge and training to operations and engineering early in the planning process to proactively embed environmental considerations into design, planning, and implementation.
Skills/Capabilities And Education
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Air and GHG environmental compliance/permitting or regulatory compliance in an oil and gas and/or petrochemical industry
- Experience in air permitting, compliance, and emissions event reporting for Midstream facilities in USAC operational regions
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills needed to collaborate with multiple clients
- Prior experience with submitting Subpart OOOO/OOOOa reports to EPA
- Knowledge of GHG and air-related ESG issues with respect to reductions and dealing with stakeholder-related issues
- Ability to network and gain collaboration from members of other workgroups

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
