We have a number of entry level opportunities across our Operations teams in the Chester office which are ideal for an individual looking to take their first step into Financial Services. As part of our Global Market Operations function, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and put your problem solving skills to work. You will both learn from and interact with a variety of internal business partners across all areas of the bank, providing you with excellent exposure to the industry.
You’ll be joining dynamic and supportive teams and you will have access to on-going training and opportunities for future career development.
As an Operations Analyst, some of your main responsibilities will involve:
- Helping to ensure compliance with global regulations governing the function
- Provide direct support to all Sales and Trading teams as it relates to margin
- Maintain frequent and direct interaction with associated functions
- Development of the strategy, target operating model and department objectives and ensuring these align to those of Global Markets, Clients and Stakeholders
- Represent the Bank internally as well as externally in industry working groups and client meetings
- Developing and delivering against the department strategy to maximise client service, efficiency, risk management and team engagement
- Add value through implementation of improvements to the system infrastructure & control environment
- Communicate updates and escalations to senior management
- Actively participate in project work

Skills & Experience:
- Strong Communication Skills
- Competence in Microsoft Office
- Product knowledge would be beneficial but not essential
- Organizational Skills with Special Emphasis on the Ability to Prioritize
- Understanding of Financial Products
