Jackson Hogg is delighted to be supporting a well-established business based in Gateshead on the appointment of a Finance Assistant.
This role is open to entry level applicants, and those with up to 1 year experience in finance. AAT study support is available for the right candidate.
· Processing Payables’ invoices and liaising with suppliers
· Purchase Order system processing and maintenance
· Prepare payment runs for processing via our banking software
· Bank account reconciliations for two entities and posting corresponding journal entries into the financial system for receipts and payments
Accounting
· Manage income schedules for deferred, accrued and miscellaneous income
· Process monthly and ad hoc journals
· Calculate, analyse, and process bad debt provision
· Support analysis and reporting of aged payables and aged receivables
· Support reconciliation, maintenance and reconciliation of entries relating to the Housing Application and corresponding entries to Business Central Financials
· Support analysis and reporting of project accounting information
