What will you be doing?
These positions are excellent opportunities for graduate or entry-level candidates with keen attention to detail, customer services experience, basic to moderate understanding of Microsoft packages (specifically Excel, Word and Outlook) and eagerness to pursue a professional career within the Investments industry. The opportunities we can provide will suit a candidate who may have started their first role(s) in general administration, data, customer services and/or further education.
Key Responsibilities:
Dependent on the specific role that you are offered, you will find the duties below may find yourself involved in any the following activities:
- Onboarding new clients into our systems and providing a high level of customer service
- Analysing and inputting data in to our sector specific software packages
- Creating and distributing a range of reports for clients and senior members of staff
- Transferring products or services and opening new accounts
- Calculating fees due on client accounts and ensuring relevant taxes are paid.
- Vetting and managing documents provided by clients
- Creation of data feeds or snapshots of progression made on investments for client reports
- Liaise with third-party product providers and/or other teams in the business
Skills and Qualifications:
- FS product knowledge or operational experience within the financial services industry; desirable but not essential.
- Good standard of education to include Math’s and English (GCSE minimum: C).
- Proficient IT skills in core Microsoft Office systems; Excel, Word, Outlook (ability to use Mail Merge and/or intermediate Excel skills are not essential but beneficial).
- Organisation and prioritisation skills; being able to work independently and within a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an eye for detail.
- Professional telephone manner and desire to learn and progress.
