An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Entry Level Agile Enabler to join our team.
ECOSIStem (Enabling Capability of Software Intensive Systems) is a project that transforms the way Rolls Royce develops embedded control and monitoring systems and software, through introducing Model Based Product Lines. We are looking to recruit Agile Enablers to join ECOSIStem and help drive organisational and cultural transformation within the Software Systems capability.
Rolls-Royce specialises in the design and integration of complex systems to create products for a range of industries, notably aerospace, nuclear and defence. The Control Systems department you will join works on the critical control and monitoring for all these. Your work will address the urgent need for a net zero carbon world.

What you’ll be doing:
In this role you will drive delivery of one or more ECOSIStem development teams by providing daily coaching and removal of any blockers.

Serve the team(s) to work within Agile frameworks, coaching engineers on principles and values, driving transparency within and outside the team.

Positively disrupt the thinking of self & others when there is a better way to work together.

Instil a culture of continuous learning including root cause analysis

Collaborate with Product Owners and teams to maintain healthy backlogs including estimation, refinement, Definition of Ready and Definition of Done.

Understand and communicate status to stakeholders and the rest of the business by establishing metrics, measures and visuals (e.g. burn-up charts, velocity charts, cumulative workflow diagrams, root cause analysis diagrams and others as-needed)

Instil a culture of Continuous Improvement within the team(s), maximising the flow within the value stream and identify areas of improvement that will yield biggest return.

Able to demonstrate how previous experience can positively impact the culture and performance of our Development teams from embracing and promoting scrum values and agile principles.

Committed to ongoing Continuous Personal Development and learning of Agile practices.

Able to tailor messages to a broader audience with various levels of knowledge and understanding.

Be able to facilitate robust and constructive debate - demonstrate specific methods by which trust and psychological safety are developed within the team to improve performance.

Experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Practitioner with an understanding of the Agile Manifesto and Agile principles.

Certified professional accreditation in Agile (e.g. Certified Scrum Master) and knowledge of scaled framework.

Demonstrated leadership in operation of Agile frameworks (e.g. Scrum and/or others).
