We’re looking for an Enterprise Business Analyst to join our Change & Technology Governance team to work with business stakeholders to help them identify, articulate, prioritise and manage requirements for business change in a way that ensures that the desired outcomes and benefits are achieved.
You will also manage the elicitation of requirements and user processes primarily focusing on deriving business insight from stakeholders to support discovery and Inceptions phases. You will create solution and technology agnostic artefacts that can be used by Architecture and Engineering teams to design and implement solutions that take most aspects of the business into consideration to deliver customer value through the implementation of IT services.
The challenge is to be able to take high-level concepts, break them down into coherent, manageable chunks, and apply an appropriate amount of structure to enable successful change in a complex business environment.

Your Responsibilities
- Elicitation, prioritisation, management and traceability of business and product requirements
- Benefits identification, planning and realisation
- Produce Discovery and Inception artefacts
- Support Business Sponsors on facilitating stakeholder input and articulating output
- Support UX and Product Owners on creating functional designs
- Map out dependencies and business impact
- Undertake EPIC level analysis of business needs to confirm components
Accountable for producing (in collaboration with different stakeholders) the following artefacts:
- Strategic alignment to Vision, Missions, Strategies, Objectives, Tactics (VMOST)
- Story Maps
- Themes / EPICs / Business Requirements
- Concept Diagram
- Business Capability Heatmap
- Impact assessment map (Stakeholders, Products, Services)
- As-is / To-be process diagrams and gap analysis
- Process User Stories and Acceptance Criteria (Solution Agnostic)
- Business Level Non-Functional Requirements
Customers, supplier and third parties:
- Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to ensure the portfolio is deliverable, required service levels and quality are maintained and business value delivered through IT.
Your Experience
Does this sound like you?
- 3+ Experience as a Business Analyst or equivalent
- Proven skills of balancing technical knowledge with business acumen
- Experience as a BA on several projects of varying size and complexity throughout the full project delivery lifecycle.
- Experience of business change (people, process AND technology) projects and initiatives
- Experience in a variety of elicitation, analysis and presentation techniques
- Experience of projects from inception, through implementation and review
- Experience in Waterfall, Iterative and Agile frameworks would be advantageous
- Documentation – requirements documents, requirements lists, impact analyses, gap analyses, business rules
- Presentation construction and delivery
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written/listening, presentation) including the ability to communicate to both technical and business colleagues - must be able to discuss complex issues in a plain and concise manner.
- Knowledge of potential sources of risk and how to mitigate their impact on project success
- Business Analysis and Agile certifications are desirable
