As a Data Solutions Architect you will be responsible for building, maintaining, scaling, and integrating big data based platforms. Notwithstanding, you will also be engaged with the Data Science team in setting up and automating the Data Science models/algorithms for production use.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about Data and are excited to use different tools to provide data insight for further analysis and drive business decisions.
This is a hybrid role and requires you to be present in our office in Leicester at least twice every two weeks. Additionally, travel to other sites might be required.Requirements
You're Good At
- Experience with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design data solutions using Microsoft Azure.
- Experience as a Solutions Architect or Data Engineer, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
- In-depth knowledge of Azure data services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure Blob Storage.
- Proficiency in data warehousing concepts and multidimensional data modeling techniques.
- Familiarity with SAAS implementation and integration with Azure data platforms.
- Strong understanding of data management principles, data governance, and data privacy regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to design innovative solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Data Engineer) are a plus
