Solutions Architect
Location: Bristol (BS32). Flexible working and opportunity to work from home may be available.
Logiq have a growing technical architecture practice and we’re seeking bright minds to join a dynamic and highly motivated team of enterprise and solution architects. Logiq is looking to strengthen the team with greater breadth and depth of experience in technologies for cloud, hybrid and on-prem IT services, networks, applications and data services. The Role:
You will join the growing architecture practice, delivering secure IT services and systems to clients, deploying skills across a delivery lifecycle to suit the needs of the client. From inception and requirements analysis, architecture development, design, engineering implementation and testing, the projects we work on demand on a flexible and dynamic approach, drawing on your experience to drive the team’s outcomes successfully.
As an experienced solution architect, you will be comfortable working as part of a team, whilst also delivering outcomes individually where, the client requires specialist support matching your skillset and technology experience. Strong communication skills, an acute attention to detail and a strong focus on quality are essential to ensure our clients continue to trust in our expertise.

Your responsibilities will include leading development of strategy, architecture documentation, models, technical specifications and high-level designs, as well as responding to and incorporating client feedback. As delivery can be very dynamic and cross many stages of a project lifecycle, you will also have responsibility for planning, coordinating and leading engineering implementation, whilst resolving blockers. In these projects, adapting and innovating to maintain momentum and drive success on time and within resource budgets are critical skills.
Within the architecture practice, your expertise and experience will support the growth of the client base, seeking out and supporting business development in conjunction with Logiq’s account leads and through ongoing engagement with clients and their wider enterprise. Key to successful growth is the ability to mentor and develop junior members of the team, sharing experience and supporting the expansion of their skillset as they contribute to our team’s success.

Essential Skills:
3+ years proven experience in the architecture role
Experience in relevant technology covering IT Infrastructure, Networks, Applications, and/orData
Experience of working with any of Defensive Cyber, Enterprise Architecture and Secure System Design.
Desirable Skills:
Experience in ArchiMate and system modelling.
System engineering or system security skills
Previous experience in a consultancy role.
Experience in MOD architecture views or delivery processes
Desirable Certifications, Qualifications Experience:
2.1 Engineering, computer science, physics or mathematics degree
Higher degree such as MSc or Phd
Experience using Enterprise Architecture Frameworks (e.g TOGAF)
IEng or CEng Registration with a recognised professional body representing Engineering or IT (e.g. IET or BCS)

Logiq Consulting are Cyber Security and Information Assurance experts. We specialise in providing leading edge consultancy to high-threat clients, as well as delivering a range of security services and products throughout the Private and Public Sector. We are a Microsoft Silver Partner.
Existing HMG Security Clearance (SC) is desirable, and candidates must be prepared to undergo security clearance. You must have been resident in the UK for the last 5 years.
