- Retaining overall ownership of the solution through delivery and transition into operation.
- Identification and design of architectural improvement opportunities
- Determine the architectural roadmap and integration with existing systems within cost/time/quality parameters
- Act as the key technical point of contact for partners and engage with internal teams to ensure all interests are considered
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders (consultancy firms, software vendors, service providers, etc.) to identify and analyse solution options, providing technical steer for the projects and BAU teams
- Ensure that solutions are an appropriate balance between short-term delivery needs and medium/long-term strategic aspirations.
What you’ll need
- Must have least 5 years' experience in a similar role (consulting or key-user) to bring extensive experience with SAP and global implementation programs
- Must be experienced in designing and configuring SAP ERP and HR solutions, including integration points across SAP modules & systems
- Deep understanding of modern technologies and technical challenges
- Experience of transformation across Hybrid cloud architectures, cloud applications, monolith to microservices, distributed-data architecture etc.
- Experience of previous S/4HANA technologies, either as part of ECC migrations or greenfield implementations
- Ability to develop deep business knowledge and offer advice that spans across IT and business domains
- Ability to understand, assess, and optimise end-to-end processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrates a ‘can-do’ mentality, operating in a complex environment
- Ability to see the strategic view whilst at the same time adopting pragmatic approaches to delivery
- Commercially aware with a view of total cost of ownership throughout the solution life cycle
- Ability to make decisions in the environment of uncertainty with clear articulation of assumptions and risks
- Able to work effectively across multiple cross-functional teams and contexts, responding to their differing needs and levels of expertise
