Job description
- Greets visitors and helps students, parents/guardians, employees, and other individuals with their routine enrollment-related questions, disseminates and/or explains information.
- Provides one-stop support to prospective and current students who are completing admissions, enrollment and financial aid applications, documentation, and transactions, using the best customer service practices.
- Distributes, collects, and reviews forms for completeness, as well as researches student inquiries.
- Assists students in completing Enrollment Services applications, forms, and other transactions.
- Stays up to date with important staff and student deadlines.
- Advises students concerning disbursement policies and procedures.
- Maintains knowledge of regulations, eligibility, and documentation requirements concerning financial aid, admissions, and registration.
- Advises students regarding standard financial aid and other payment options and the availability of other supporting programs and refers the students to the respective subject matter expert for in detail counseling.
- Reviews and verifies accuracy and completeness of applications and other documents.
- Maintains office supply and computer inventory.
- Assists in the collection of data and preparation of material for periodic reports.
- Hires, schedules, and manages student employees who support the day-today operations of the assigned support area.
- Provides adequate training to student employees.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Three (3) years of general office experience or other applicable experience related to the program, or
- One (1) year of the required experience with an associate degree or 60 college credit hours.
