We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, ambitious and inspirational colleague to join our Family Support Team.
This post is integral to our school and plays an important role in enhancing the opportunities for young people. This post would suit a passionate and motivated colleague who is experienced in working successfully with pupils, and looking forward to working with children with a range of social, emotional and mental health needs to ensure their success.
As an Enhancing Family Success/Family Support worker, you will need to share our commitment and vision within our pastoral teams. The post-holder will support the delivery and development of the EFS project. The EFS is an early intervention initiative that offers support to Derby City Primary schools to reduce violence and disaffection from education in later life.
Within our collection of schools, attendance is vital for pupil’s achievement, wellbeing, and wider development. You will be responsible for improving pupil participation and engagement in all aspects of school by supporting work with families pupils and other agencies. The main focus of the roll will be to work with pastoral teams to monitor and deliver attendance initiatives. To support with early help assessments and act as lead professional where appropriate including choices around next steps and post 16.
The successful candidate will be able to work cooperatively within a diverse team of professionals from across the education and wider care landscape.
