As a Care Assistant with demonstrable experience, you will be expected to provide support to clinical areas that require enhanced care and observations for patients who may be at risk to themselves and or others due to Brain Injury, Confusion, Delirium, Dementia, End of Life, Learning Disability, Mental Health, Substance Withdrawal and/or other contributing factors.

The successful candidate will be motivated and enthusiastic with excellent communication skills and embrace the challenge of working in a highly demanding environment where all patients' needs are managed as safely, efficiently, and compassionately as possible across the acute setting.
As part of the role, you will be required to work on a 1:1 basis with high-risk patients, support the clinical area by providing Baywatch for a number of lesser risk patients or provide general support to clinical areas .
To provide and deliver a high standard of nursing care, both on a 1:1 basis or enhanced supervisory support, recognising and meeting specific needs of the patient(s) who are identified as needing enhanced care and observation as required, for example those under a Deprivation of liberty safeguard (DOLS) or patients under the Mental Health Act.
