Introduction:
InterGreat Education Group is the official partner of the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE), a Chinese government-affiliated association similar to the British Council. CEAIE is responsible for the recruitment of all foreign teachers to Chinese state schools.
Driven by their mission to strengthen international relations through language and cultural exchange, CEAIE established the Teach in China Programme in 2015 and has continued to offer this funded programme to encourage foreign graduates to teach English in China.
InterGreat Education Group is a leading international education service provider with over 15 years of experience. Our global head office is based in London and we have offices across China.
As this is a government-sponsored programme established to strengthen China’s international relations through exchange, it is a funded opportunity with no fees.
What's Included:
1. 10-month paid placement teaching English in China with an approved state school (with the option to stay longer);
2. Salaries range from £900 to £1400 per month (Before Tax);
3. On-campus accommodation or allowance towards off-campus accommodation;
4. 4-6 weeks winter vacation in January + 2-month summer break;
5. Return flights to China;
6. Daily Food Vouchers;
7. Pre-departure Online TEFL Course；
8. Arrival orientation course；
9. Guidance and Support throughout the entire programme；
10. Assistance with required documents；

Eligibility & Programme Details:
1. In order to be eligible for this opportunity to teach English in China, you must meet all of the following requirements:
a. Citizens of UK/Australia/New Zealand/South Africa/USA/Canada/Ireland;
b. Clean Criminal Record;
c. Bachelor’s Degree or above (Any Subject)
Pre Departure:
1. Once you’re happy to go ahead with the programme, InterGreat Education Group will start the application process with you and be there to support you every step of the way.
2. This process will consist of:
Helping you to enrol and complete the online TEFL course;
Guiding you through the Visa application;
Arranging interviews with the schools
3. InterGreat Education Group will be available to answer any questions you may have throughout the whole process as you start your journey to teach English in China.
Arrival:
1. You’ll be welcomed to China by a CEAIE representative at the airport who will help you settle in. You’ll have 2 weeks of English teacher training to help prepare you for your new adventure!
2. Once training has been completed, you will be sent to your school. An employee of the school will help you get settled into your new accommodation, introduce you to the other foreign teachers and answer any questions you might have.
3. Teach in China placements are 1 academic year (10 months) but you have the option to stay longer if you’re not ready to leave!
