The Opportunity
Ulteig is currently seeking qualified candidates for an Engineering Technician. The Engineering Technician supports an assigned group of engineers by providing technical drafting support and creating construction and removal drawings/designs.
What You'll Do
Successful candidates will complete design and construction drafting work, related to roadway plan and profile, general construction details, typical sections, erosion control plans, signing, pavement marking, and pavement layouts. Successful candidates will also participate in construction administration/construction observation (CA/CO) tasks associated with capital projects. Candidates must have strong attention to detail and work well within a team.
What We Expect from You
- Two-year technical degree or currently enrolled in school for Technical Drafting.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is required.
- Knowledge of MicroStation is preferred.
- Knowledge of 3D modeling a plus.
- Knowledge of 3D modeling software a plus.
- Proven experience in Microsoft Office Applications.
- Excellent organization and communication skills to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
- Must have permanent authorization to work in US.

Compensation Range is Generally +/- 15% of Position Mid-Point of $69,000*
