We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a family-owned business based in Middlesbrough, UK, with over 30 years of experience in the lifting equipment industry for a Lifting Equipment Engineer, a role that is available on a full time basis.
This is a permanent role with a salary range of £27,000 - £31,000
Job Description
- Install, repair, and maintain a range of lifting equipment.
- Carry out inspections and tests on lifting equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.
- Identify and troubleshoot faults in lifting equipment and provide effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Provide on-site technical support and advice to clients and colleagues as required.
- Comply with health and safety regulations and guidelines at all times.Requirements:
- Experience as a Lifting Equipment Engineer or in a similar role within the
lifting equipment industry.
- Strong knowledge of lifting equipment systems and components
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- A valid drivers license is essential
