NG Bailey Facilities Services are currently recruiting a Engineering Supervisor in London.
We are a leading Mechanical, Electrical & Building Fabric Maintenance provider and are actively seeking a M&E Maintenance Service Supervisors to support the delivery of hard service maintenance contract at a large commercial portfolio in Liverpool Street, London..
We are looking for Supervisors with a background in building service maintenance and a bias in either Mechanical or Electrical with qualifications and experience (M&E Multi-Skilled is preferred) to join our Facilities Services Division.
The Supervisors will be responsible for leading a team of Service Engineers to achieve service delivery objectives for the contract – with responsibility for; health and safety, customer service, quality assurance, statutory compliance and adherence to NG Bailey systems and procedures.
Responsibilities
You will:
- Lead the team in provision of excellent service delivery by monitoring service performance, taking corrective action when necessary and escalating to the Service Delivery or Contract Manager as appropriate.
- Undertake risk assessments and safety audits in line with relevant safety legislation and NG Bailey Health and Safety systems and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with statutory controls across all technical areas of expertise by completion of internal audits and involvement in external audits to support and develop an ethos of Continuous Improvement.
- Supervision of Sub Contractor works ensuring compliance with NG Bailey procurement processes.
- Monitor completion of PPM, reactive and quoted work through utilisation of Siclops, analysis of Work in Progress (WIP) reporting and liaison with the NG Bailey Service Centre
- Contribute to the effective planning, set up, mobilisation and operation of contracts in accordance with NG Bailey systems and procedures.
- Produce quotes for any small works required on site.
You will have:
- Ideally all candidates should have undertaken an ELECTRICAL, MECHANICAL or BUILDING SERVICES apprenticeship
- If Electrical Bias:
- City & Guilds Part 1 & 2 / AM1 / AM2 (or equivalent qualifications)
- NVQ Level 3
- Service, repair, installation of Electrical equipment (18th Edition IEE Regs)
- If Mechanical Bias:
- Level 3 Equivalent from a Mechanical Discipline. BMS experience and Multi-skilling capability and or HVAC certificates, equivalent qualifications,
- Service, repair, installation of HVAC equipment
- Small mechanical installation works (pumps, valves, taps, etc…)
- Experience working at Senior Level, probably as Multi-Skilled Technician, experienced on Industrial, Commercial & Domestic manufacturers systems, carrying out PPM's in line with SFG20 or equivalent with advanced fault finding diagnostic experience.
- Capable of Supervising Reactive Repairs and Small Projects.
- Experienced in Statutory & Mandatory Compliance Maintenance Records / Certification and uploading onto Service Systems.
- Risk Assessment and Method Statement approval and associated Work Permit’s
- M&E Fault-finding
- Control panels – PPMs and actuators
- BMS – Trend, Honeywell, Siemens, etc. – controlling hot & colds, re-sets on boilers, fault-finding, checking plant is operational
- Pumps, AHUs, FCUs, filters, belts, pulleys
