You’ll get to know us from the inside, develop yournatural talents on the job - and become a part of the teams shaping the futureof power generation. This is a 12 month role based in Lincoln.
ASnapshot of Your Day
Working within the Product Lifecycle Management Team,you will assist the department with identifying and developing opportunities toimprove product offerings for our customers. These opportunities will helpsupport our customers becoming more successful and secure a good growthprospect for Siemens Energy, ensuring we continue to have competitive offerings.You will also help support the team in defining the product development roadmapfor the different gas turbine and Service products.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Focus on the Energy transition and develop opportunities to support our customers’ needs in reducing their carbon emissions; these may include alternative fuels, such as hydrogen capability.
- Study and understand customer and market requirements, identifying and initiating development opportunities with R&D team.
- Support the team with further activities, such a fleet maintenance, performance and cost out strategies, identifying opportunities to improve the customer operation, whilst considering the opportunity to growth business revenue and EBIT.
- Develop and update technical sales documentation relating to gas turbines.
- You will interact with other departments within the business and within the wider Siemens Energy community to develop relationships and identifying opportunity.
WhatYou Bring
- Undergraduate on track to graduating with Hons. at 2.2 or above in an Engineering (Mechanical or Integrated) related degree.
- Self-driven individual that consistently takes ownership of assigned tasks and projects.
- Effectively work as part of a diverse, multi-disciplined Siemens Energy team.
- Have an eye for detail and apply analytical skills to decision making and problem solving.
- You must have a desire for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Can understand and effectively communicate complex information, proficient in writing and IT skills including use of MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint.
