Job Introduction
Reach Plc are recruiting an Engineering Planner to provide an effective administration service and support activity scheduling to ensure that levels of resource planning are managed in line with company objectives.
This role is based at our Oldham site but there is an option for it to be hybrid.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Engineering Team Leader in planning and scheduling engineering daily tasks, including predictive, corrective, preventative, condition based and continuous improvement maintenance
- Respond to schedule changes effectively ensuring no jobs are missed and all tasks are closed down within the timescales provided
- Prioritise workload accordingly and track daily activities through to closure
- Produce KPI reports ensuring the data is supplied in the correct format
- Track engineering teams to ensure maximum utilisation and capacity in response to internal customer demand
- Maintenance & management of the EAM System to ensure accurate data is stored and raising work orders when required
- Manage the day to day support activities including administration, resource management, stock control and contractor compliance
- Deal with the production of relevant statistics for management, communication and progress reports affecting achievement of production targets including, downtime data trends to assist in CI activities
- Help shape our maintenance activities for a culture that embraces change

Who are we looking for?
Essential:
- Knowledge and / or experience of planning, scheduling or organising tasks
- Able to work within a flexible team environment and interact at all levels within an organisation
- The ability to multitask and work to strict deadlines within an FMCG environment
- Embrace new technology and demonstrate an understanding of computer based systems/equipment.
- Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written
- PC literate with confidence of utilising standard document formats and software
Desirable:
- Experience within a similar manufacturing environment (FMCG)
- Exposure to an engineering environment
- Knowledge of planning tools, software or CMMS systems
