Our Electrical Engineers operate on a scale and precision not even imagined by many other sectors. This is an opportunity to play a crucial role in the life cycle management of our unique equipment, helping to specify, design, build, install, commission and maintain a huge range of machines, ensuring that high performance is maintained and that the highest safety standards are met. It’s an opportunity to work with emerging technologies, build your expertise and make a vital contribution to the quality of the final product.
The scale of the work we do means that Tata is an immense arena for learning and development. You will be working with machines that can consume many Mega Watts whilst producing a product to a few microns accuracy. It’s the ideal way to build the varied skills, knowledge and expertise needed for a career that can take you in many different directions.
To be eligible for a placement you should be on track to achieve a 2:1 degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronic Engineering (IET Accredited), during which you have covered the following topics: Power, Electronics, Control and Instrumentations.
