The Role
We are looking to recruit highly motivated individuals to join the Off Base Maintenance Team, responsible for ensuring the requirements of BA Engineering and Maintenance are met at various MRO’s and working together with those MRO’s in delivering the long-term engineering plan for both scheduled maintenance and modifications.
The role provides a single point of contact between Engineering Support teams and contracted maintenance organisations. Whilst you will be based at our Engineering facility at Heathrow within the Planning and Business Development unit, you will be mainly working outside of the UK.
The role is primarily based outside of the UK and may include extended stays away from home.
You will be working closely with key stakeholders across Engineering and Maintenance to drive contracted Engineering delivery and performance each and every day, in delivering best and most efficient performance, quality and cost to benefit BA Engineering.
We are looking for individuals with in-depth heavy maintenance and A/C modification program knowledge gained through hands on experience. You will need specific knowledge of aircraft maintenance programs. Knowledge of planning, supply chain and budget controls would be beneficial.
Strong analytical skills are required to interpret business information, solving problems and issues on the day and a high degree of business awareness is required along with the ability to interact and communicate with a wide range of departments/colleagues at all levels both inside and outside of the business.
