About the Job
Fantastic opportunity for a motivated and results-driven Buyer / Purchasing professional to undertake a varied role with ongoing development opportunities within a world-class engineering business.
As an Engineering Buyer within this UK Engineering company, who design, manufacture and deliver exciting Engineering products and systems for the growing Fluid Handling and LNG markets. You will be responsible for purchasing components, equipment, tools and services to fulfil customer orders/projects using procurement and negotiation skills to obtain the best value and quality for the company.
You must be an experienced Buyer with a history of working within a technical manufacturing business.
You will work closely with the production and project management team to ensure that all orders and projects are processed on schedule.
About the Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a similar role / relevant field. You will also have / be:
- Minimum of 2 years Engineering / Manufacturing buying experience.
- ERP/MRP experience with M1 or D365 (or similar) will be beneficial.
- Ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) with the ability to make decisions and meet targets.
- Methodical and detailed work ethic.
- Ambition for career development.
- To be located within a reasonable commuting distance of the Trelleborg Westbury facility.
- To be willing to travel to other group companies and suppliers as and when required.
