Job description

Here at Eddies Doggy Daycare we are looking for individuals with a love for dogs to join our team. We require committed, enthusiastic people with great interpersonal skills, whose passion for caring for animals shines through. Previous experience of working with dogs is preferred but not required.

Eddies Daycare aims to give every dog the best experience each time they come to daycare, therefore it is imperative that our team share our core values as we continue to grow and expand.

As a Driver/ team member, you will be responsible for your dogs from the moment they are collected. You will be provided with a company van to pick up/drop home following a designated route. At daycare, you will be required to stimulate the dogs through activities and enrichment. General cleaning of the Day-care throughout the day will also be expected. We look for individuals who posses a strong ability to use their own initiative, are trustworthy and have great customer service.

You will be driving the dogs in a medium sized van, please only apply if you feel comfortable driving.

Eddies Doggy Daycare is predominantly an outdoor daycare, meaning during the winter months in particular - you will get muddy, you will get wet and you will get cold. Please bare this in mind when applying, if this is something you are not comfortable with, then our daycare is not for you.

As a daycare driver you are integral to ensuring the smooth running of the daycare operations. Reliability is essential for customers and the business. We expect a 100% dedication to collecting the dogs on time.

Requirements:

- A dog lover who is comfortable with all breeds of dogs and sizes

- Engage with all dogs during play time.

- Competent with social media platforms

- Supervising & Playing with groups of dogs, ensuring stimulation and play in a safe environment.

- General cleaning & maintenance of the day-care

- Bathing & Cleaning muddy dogs

- Strong communication skills.

- Social and enthusiast individual who can confidently fit in with a small team

- Business van will be provided, you must be comfortable with experience driving a van. Due to insurance restrictions applicants must be 21+
