Job description
We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Senior Engineer in the wind turbine industry. This role will focus on improving and optimizing our wind turbine designs, especially distributed power wind turbines, to maximize efficiency and power output. This position is fully remote, and no relocation is required.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of wind turbine performance and reliability.
- Develop and implement engineering improvements to existing wind turbine technology.
- Coordinate with the team to understand, implement, and refine wind turbine specifications, particularly for distributed power wind turbines.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams to ensure successful integration of design modifications.
- Develop and execute validation tests to verify system performance and reliability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or related field. A Master’s degree or PhD is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in wind turbine engineering.
- Strong understanding of wind turbine specifications, particularly for distributed power wind turbines.
- Proven ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
