Are you an experienced Engineering Supervisor in a Food Manufacturing environment?

If so, we’d love to hear from you as our client is recruiting an Engineering Supervisor for their food manufacturing business based on the Suffolk / Cambridgeshire border. This business is relatively new but has experienced phenomenal growth over the last few years and this growth will continue for some time as it taps into a category like no other.
Key Responsibilities for the role of Engineering Supervisor:
Maintain all electrical and mechanical equipment, and buildings ensuring all safety and legislative compliance.
Proactive and reactive maintenance are equally as important. Keeping downtime to a minimum is vital but so is understanding root cause analysis and diagnostics.
Working with the Head of Engineering in planning for growth with occasional installation requirements.
And doing all of the above without compromising food safety, health & safety and quality of the product.
Key Attributes for the role of Engineering Supervisor:
Good, solid experience working in an Engineering role within a food manufacturing business is needed in this role.
Proficient in Electromechanical fault-finding techniques.
The ability to switch between the day-to-day maintenance tasks and strategic planning.
Ability to manage and lead a team, setting good examples whilst engaging people and rewards success by recognition, feedback and fun.
Knowledge of food safety, food hygiene and HACCP standards and what will really set you apart from other candidates is if you have experience of Multivac lines.
