Role: Engineering Manager – NodeJS

Tech: JavaScript, Node, Typescript, AWS

Salary: up to £110K + bonus

Salt have partnered with a major retail company in London who are looking to bring in an Engineering Manager, they are undergoing a pivotal digital transformation journey in the company’s history.

In recent times they’ve headhunted industry leading figures in the fashion industry at board level, who have a proven record in elevating online businesses through technology, so this is an exciting time to join the software engineering team, where there’s a lot of demand for new business capability and customer experiences.

They believe in empowering all of the technical team and Engineering Managers to make tech important technical decisions, they have 10 engineering teams in total – the team you will be leading will consist of a Technical Lead, various levels of software engineers and QA’s

They want experienced people, who have proven experience leading & scaling product engineering teams & delivery. Along with previous domain experience within fulfillment/supply chain, and bonus points for experience with technologies like AWS, Dynamics365, Navison, SQL.

Day to Day you won’t be writing code, however the tech stack is all recent technologies like React, Node, AWS, Typescript.

They are ideally looking for an Engineering Manager who has experience working in other high transactional environments, building services for high volumes using similar architectures.

For the Engineering Manager role, they are paying anywhere up to £110K + bonus and other great benefits.

They’re based in Central London, and work on a 3 days in the office per week system.
