My client specialise in driving digital transformation and integration across the life safety, security and communications industry across universities, public spaces and the Armed Forces.
Due to the company’s rapid investor backed growth, they’re looking to add additional Fire Alarm Surveyor with a commitment to provide ongoing professional development.
What will the Fire Alarm Surveyor be doing?
- Assisting with design compliance including site surveys
- Attending site and customer meetings to discuss fire alarm compliance and systems
- Advising on non-compliance matters and issuing of Technical information
- Assisting with Third Party inspection audits and providing documentation
- Providing technical support for internal staff and external customers
- Carry out site surveys and produce written proposals for the clients/customers
What we’re looking for:
- Should be able to demonstrate a good technical knowledge of Fire, CCTV Access Control and Intruder systems such as Gent, Morley, Advanced and Hikvision.
- Knowledge of networking and PABX systems would be an advantage
- Gent approved engineer (desired, training can be given)
- 10 years’ experience in maintaining and repairing the above systems in an engineering capacity
- Experience of working to BAFE SP203-1
