Job description
Forseven, a revolutionary company looking to transform the EV industry through cutting-edge technology and innovative engineering practices, is seeking an exceptional Circular Economy Engineer to join our highly skilled and dynamic Sustainability team. This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity out of one of our offices near Guildford or Coventry, where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field.

What you will do:
- Provide guidance to vehicle project engineers to maximise product circularity, e.g. identifying areas for maximizing use of recycled content in vehicle & developing pathways to delivering, creating guidelines and processes to reduce production waste (e.g. nesting, assessing designs for wasteful processes), develop metrics and targets relating to circularity, setting targets and pathways to deliver
- Benchmark Forseven products vs competition, understand the differences, address improvement opportunities and suggest more circular alternatives
- Assess circular economy business cases and models and develop strategy to exploit these opportunities
- Maximise “closed-loop” recycling opportunities for Forseven, including assessing business case & projects for remanufacture of components, end of life take-back schemes, shared mobility etc.
We would like you to have:
- Bachelor's degree in scientific discipline or engineering
- Experience of in-house/consultancy delivering circular economy projects including business case, execution etc (transport experience preferred)
