Main responsibilities

The Support Team are the front line in our customer support function. A typical day involves answering incoming customer queries, either from telephone calls or emails.

Often managing numerous queries at once, Support Specialists use their skills to prioritise queries based on customer requirements. They support trusts, workers and agencies from booking stage through to final payments and deductions.

As an organisation we own and operate multiple workforce management systems, for which you will provide support to multiple clients, both internal and external. The main priority within the role is managing queries through to resolution, logging them on the case management system. Queries will be both over the phone and via email, therefore an excellent telephone manner and written English is essential.

There is an element of coaching and guiding users through the system, ensuring that queries are dealt with swiftly and effectively, minimising future queries and enhancing customer experience.

There will also be other ad hoc/project work such as pulling data or producing reports.

Continuous improvement is important to the team, therefore you will be able to add value by putting forward new ideas regarding processes.

Experience and qualifications required

It is essential that you hold a minimum of 5 GCSEs A-C or equivalent, demonstrable customer service experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook and Excel.

Some previous application support experience and administration experience would be beneficial but not essential.

The successful candidate will have an excellent telephone manner, with the ability to pick up computer systems quickly and efficiently. You will also be able to solve problems and manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively within the role.

The team

Working from home across the UK, the team gives the NHS, agencies and workers specialist support for technical and service queries via telephone and email.

You will join a hard-working, fun, and outgoing team who have all have good tenure with the organisation, focused on providing world class customer service to internal and external clients.

They are excited to have a new addition to the team and will support this person through a comprehensive 3 month training programme which involves shadowing and meeting a variety of team members
