ABOUT YOU -

The successful candidate will have a strong engineering background, with previous experience of repairing a variety of industrial electronics to component level. You will have understanding of EMS business model and commercial contracts, as well as industrial consumables/MRO market, and be able to deliver an effective service in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner.

Your main skills required:

  • Working on site as well as the workshop
  • Working within the current Health & Safety guidelines and site requirements
  • You are responsible for your health and safety and have a duty of care for others around
  • you within your working environment.
  • Promoting good housekeeping for an efficient working environment

ABOUT THE ROLE -

As a Mechanical Fitter at ERIKS, you will provide day to day rotating equipment repairs.

In addition to your workshop- based work, the role will also include some site work at our clients locations.

Experienced in a workshop/engineering environment, you will have experience of working with different types of industrial pumps, motors and gearboxes both in the workshop and on client sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control productivity
  • Ensure the adoption of workshop best practice and that spares are correctly sourced for individual jobs.
  • Responsible for the efficient control and progress of individual jobs.
  • Take direct hands-on involvement in major repairs and contracts.
  • Ensure the quality and integrity of individual jobs.
  • Ensure the compliance to quality standards and systems
  • Ensure safe working practices to Health, Safety and the environmental legislation. Ensure the security of all plant and equipment.
