Job description
E. Park and Sons Limited are a leading packer and wholesaler of fresh potatoes to many blue chip retail customers and food processors.
In order to support significant business growth with a key customer, our Weekend Night Shift Engineers will support the smooth and efficient running of our plant and machinery by performing planned maintenance routines
Weekend Night Shift Engineers will be responsible for carrying out planned, preventative maintenance routines to ensure that the manufacturing process operates as smoothly as possible, reducing costly inefficiencies to a minimum and maintaining the integrity and safety of the plant as a whole.

Shifts are available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights
We are keen to hear from experienced engineers willing to work one or more of the weekend night shifts.
Hours of work are subject to negotiation but the weekend night shifts are expected to start at 6pm and will run for between 6 hours up to a maximum of 12 hours per shift.
Additional shifts may be available.
Night Shift Engineer Hourly Rate of Pay: £18.92 p/h
Primary duties & responsibilities to include:
Follow preventative maintenance / lubrication schedules and liaise with Management regarding spare part requirements
Assist with installation work, as and when required, ensuring that site standards are adhered to at all times.
Understand and comply with the company Health and Safety policy and promote a safe working environment culture
Carry out any repair or maintenance work that is required, whilst ensuring the area is left in a clean and safe condition.
Qualifications and Experience
Time served or Apprentice trained mechanical engineer
NVQ, BTEC, City and Guilds Level 3
Previous experience within a manufacturing environment – ideally in Food or FMCG
