As a graduate trainee you will be working within the BEG UK team to develop and broaden your proficiency and knowledge, you will have an opportunity to develop a wider understanding of Bosch Engineering Group. You will bring a positive and flexible approach and be expected to integrate and work closely with the UK teams, as well as the central German team, transitioning between the departments when required. The role is a 2 year fixed term role.
Key role responsibilities:
- Introduction of a worldwide data analytics platform, including all regions and sister companies
- Automation of key figures, evaluations and visualisations based on RED Lake and SAP BW
- Establishment of data engineering and data analytics standards
- Requirements management, definition, implementation and maintenance of key figures and evaluations
- Creation of dashboards for MSD worldwide
- Contact person and responsible for evaluations within internal stakeholders
Essential:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field like mathematics, statistics, computer science or economics.
- In-depth knowledge of statistical methodologies and data analysis techniques
- Knowledge of relevant relational databases and SQL
- A solid understanding of data sources, data organisation and storage
- Experience in data visualisation and presentation
- Proficiency in designing algorithms and implementing statistical methods
- Ability to clean and validate data to ensure uniformity and accuracy
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Desired:
- Postgraduate qualification, such as a master's degree in Data Science or Data Analytics
- Experience with hands-on data analytics applications and obtaining insights from data
- Proficiency in various programming languages such as Java, C, Python, R along with strong coding skills
- Experience with UX and AGILE methodologies
