2nd / 3rd Line Engineer - MSP, Windows, Cloud

Coleshill - £30,000 - £40,000 + Benefits

Applause IT are working with a growing MSP in Coleshill who are on the lookout for a 2nd / 3rd Line Engineer with solid experience within a Microsoft tech stack and having prior experience in a managed service environment.

The successful 2nd/3rd Line Engineer should have experience and exposure with the following:

• MSP Background, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise accordingly.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with project work.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2012 -2022, Office 365, SCCM (or similar) Active Directory
• Any experience with cloud technology, scripting, AWS, Azure (or similar qualification) would also be advantageous.
• Great communication skills, with great problem-solving abilities
• Clean driving license.
• Update the ticketing system, ensuring the call has been logged and all notes, progress and required actions have been input promptly and accurately.
• Respond to Service Desk phone calls/tickets as needed, focusing on 3rd line tickets and activities, and taking on tickets escalated by the 1st/2nd line Infrastructure Technicians.
• Virtualisation - VMWare ESXi 7.0 Veeam Backup & Replication / Hyper-V
• An ability to explain technical problems in a simple way to end users at all levels within the business.
