Job description
To complement our continued growth / expansion plans we are seeking a Trainee AC Engineer. We are looking for a motivated individual to learn, support and assist our AC Engineers to install, repair, commission and test various air conditioning systems and general ventilation equipment.
This is a permanent, full-time role and some of the main duties will include:
· Provide support to the AC Install Engineer.
· Ensure systems are installed to site drawings and specification as detailed by the AC Install Engineer.
· Ensure systems are installed to a suitable quality as per industry standards.
· Ensure completion of the company’s and client’s (where applicable) Commissioning / Health and safety paperwork.
Candidate requirements:
· Hold a full UK driving licence.
· Be able to accommodate early starts / late finishes in order to complete jobs within agreed timescales.
· Be able to work away should this be required.
· Hold CSCS cards would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.
· Some training in a technical field such as electrical, plumbing or similar and /or some working experience with the HVAC filed would be an advantage but is not essential.
· The ability to listen and take instructions.
· Live within a 15 mile radius of our head office in St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex.
