Why this job Matters
The Engagement Specialist will lead the delivery of aligned high-quality communications both within the Data CoE, and to other data factions and the rest of the business. They will lead, build and maintain the desired culture in order to provide improved employee experience.
This is a new and important role in our recently established central data & insight team. You'll be responsible for building and delivering our comms strategy, maintaining our channels and fostering the collaborative culture in our data community that will be essential for us to achieve our goal of becoming a data-driven business. You'll be a strong comms and engagement professional, with a knack for translating between technical and operational domains. It would be beneficial if you have experience of data, reporting and insight.
What you’ll be doing
- Build and deliver the comms strategy
- Fostering the relationships with partners that ensure we work together well
- Foster the culture and values within the team and beyond that moves us towards a data driven business through comms
- Communicate the benefit and value of ODI and the work it is doing
- Commission and communicate a programme of works that drives us towards data literacy, keeping it simple
- Model and embed our culture and standards via collaborating and influencing key internal stakeholders and creating a safe environment
- Helping to organise internal team days
- Partner with senior stakeholders and key cross-functional teams to design and deliver on co-ordinated employee engagement solutions.
- Develop, design and help to implement and maintain a “employee channel” for communications working with business leads to ensure that employees can find and act on key information/ updates to ways of working and any Data System updates.
