As we make the move to Net Zero, we’re looking for an Engagement Programme Specialist to join our Electricity Transmission (ET) team, understanding the needs and motivations of our customers and stakeholders, including end consumers and employees, enables the shaping of our day-to-day business decisions and future business plans, whilst helping to drive improvements in business performance.
This role supports the management and execution of the stakeholder engagement programme that underpins the robust development of the ET business plan, ensuring we maintain the commitments made in our published Stakeholder Charter.
This role will work closely with colleagues across Electricity Transmission and associated support functions, to help coordinate and facilitate the engagement events such as conferences, webinars and newsletters as well as ensure the subject matter expert speakers/hosts are prepared and event learnings are carried through to subsequent events. This role will also require coordinating and working with the ET internal communications function.
As a core component of the engagement programme, this role will also ‘own’ parts of the ET website (along with Stakeholder Comms Lead) to ensure accuracy and consistency in Stakeholder content across different sections, including the ongoing content management for the associated Regulatory Performance and Pathway to Net Zero Web pages. The role will help ensure that all externally facing material is of the right quality and aligns with ET’s brand.
This is a Hybrid role where you will have the opportunity to work from Home and Office (Warwick).
About You
- Superb written communication skills and excellent attention to detail
- Advanced user of PowerPoint
- Understanding of brand guidelines
- Knowledge of the energy industry
- Ability to work in a highly matrixed organisation and building key internal relationships
- Experience of working with third-party agencies
- Ideally, experience in managing web content (although support will be provided) and some experience in research surveys (although support & training will be provided)

- A salary of £35,600 - £45,100 dependant on capability
