Our client is looking for a Consultation And Engagement Lead Officer to join the Marketing and Communications team. You will be leading and delivering consultation and engagement activities, providing accurate research to enable evidence-based decision-making.
In the role you will:
- Be responsible for the timely, effective and efficient promotion, design, project management, analysis, interpretation and dissemination of major consultations.
- Lead on public engagement including the development of networks to ensure all consultation and engagement activity is inclusive.
- Use public engagement to generate or test new ideas, increase public understanding of the companies goals.
- Provide expert advice, training and resources to support high-quality ‘self-service’.
- Co-ordinate, use and develop a range of e-participation and social media tools for public consultation and engagement work, including discussion forums, e- bulletins and e-petitions.
- Ensure data is used effectively without misinterpretation, using statistical and geographical analysis, data management and the maintenance of an audit trail incorporating quality assurance and quality control.
- Work closely with the communications team, originate, assess and apply innovative techniques to consult, engage and communicate with a wide range of partners, stakeholders and the public.
Hours: 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.
