Introduction
We are looking for a mission-driven, detail-oriented, inclusive individual to join our team as a Partner Engagement Lead. This is a full time, regular role.

Originally founded as Ladies Learning Code in 2011, the organization has evolved to run programming for adults, youth and educators through our Ladies, Girls, Kids, Teens and Teachers Learning Code programs. Today, Canada Learning Code operates in over 250 communities across the country, driving impact through program design and delivery, strategic industry and public partnerships, research and advocacy. To date, the organization has had over 775,000 learners attend an in-person or live online experience.

Key Responsibilities
1. Leverage a pipeline of inbound requests to build and steward partnerships with educators and community leaders and book learning workshops
2. Develop and execute strategies to retain partners and deepen engagement through multiple offerings
3. Encourage and support educators and community leaders in their journey from learning to teaching computer science
4. Coordinate and optimize teaching schedules of internal delivery teams accounting for various time zones and scheduling needs and ensure all relevant information and context is relayed from external contacts and clearly outlined for delivery teams.
5. Track all progress and communications in salesforce including pipeline stages, workshop details, and results.
Key Accountabilities and Behaviours
Administrative Tasks
- Consistently update Salesforce records, including converting inbound leads for virtual visits, tracking learner numbers, and logging external communications
- Execute and manage follow-ups, feedback surveys, and analysis for all events
- Using Google Calendars and other tools, coordinate schedules for virtual Delivery Teams, accounting for teaching time, workshop prep, time off and other projects
- Ensure calendar invites contain all information required to deliver successfully including timing, learner info, meeting links and other relevant information
- Using Eventbrite, launch experiences, manage registration and oversee cancellation process
- Consistently available and responsive on slack and other communication platforms
Communications and Stewardship
- Work with community groups, schools, and districts in order to promote Canada Learning Code programs and initiatives and capture partnership details in formalized MOUs where appropriate
- Research and develop new opportunities to attend virtual events and conferences in partnership with other tech-based organizations and community groups and represent Canada Learning Code at these events
- Steward educator contacts on their journey to learning and teaching code , and develop a pipeline of Affiliate Partners who are committed to delivering Canada Learning Code lessons to youth learners
- Leverage understanding of partners in order to develop individualized resource packages a
- Manage conversations regarding paid programming with relevant partners and log results in salesforce
- Steward partners introduced by the development team
Internal Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with Learning Facilitators to determine which content is best suited for which delivery partners as well as specialized series and public experiences such as Summer Camps
- Collaborate with Brand Strategy to understand learner needs and how to meet them
- Work closely with Learning Facilitation teams to understand internal needs, resulting in a schedule that addresses a variety of perspectives and content experience.
- Support the development and execution of cross-functional events and projects by attending regular meetings with other departments (eg. marketing, fundraising), supporting on report development and sitting on project teams where applicable
- Develop strategies to increase workshop registration and attendance, as well as post-experience survey response rates
- Consistent involvement with signature events including support with promotion and day-of roles
About You
The Affiliate Relationship Lead is a self-motivated, organized and culturally aware individual with a background in account management as well as experience with cross-functional projects and events.
Experience/Education
- Education or 3+ years experience in business development and/or account management

Assets
- Official bilingualism (English and French)
- Understanding of Canadian K-12 public school systems
- Working knowledge of Salesforce
- Must be able to provide a Criminal Reference Check
Location
We are a remote-first organization with Team Members located across Canada. Our physical office is in Toronto (near Queen and University). Team members located in or visiting the Toronto area have the option to access or work from the office in accordance with our COVID-19 policies.
Reporting
This role reports to our Manager, Educational and Community Partnerships.
Compensation
$52,500 to $57,500 annually + benefits
