Would you like to work in our newly created low carbon energy team?
We are looking for 2 candidates to help us work towards the challenge of meeting our net zero and carbon reduction targets through energy efficiency and decarbonising, including accessing investment from wide-ranging sources to maximise delivery for the Borough. Our new posts are;
The Home Energy Reduction Officer will focus on identifying opportunities, develop funding bids and implement programmes for domestic energy retrofit measures to support decarbonisation, improve energy efficiency and reduce energy use.

The Asset Energy Reduction Officer will develop and deliver a prioritised carbon reduction programme for HBC assets, focussing on the top fifteen emitters and also seeking carbon reduction throughout the portfolio of smaller properties, reduce energy use and carbon emissions to the lowest possible level as a key part of the Council’s Net Zero commitment.
