About the role
We have a really exciting opportunity to join our growing business that is playing a leading role in the transition to a zero carbon economy.
A highly supportive and engaged Leadership Team is seeking an energetic individual to become Energy Manager. Reporting into the Head of ESG, there will be plenty of opportunity for the individual to grow and develop their role.
They will be responsible for energy management across the Wolseley Group, working with Finance and Property teams on the management of electricity, gas and water. This will include; Procurement, management of the third party bill validation provider, developing a programme to retrofit energy efficiency measure, and reporting performance.
The role will be based at our Warwick Head Office and will have flexibility to work from home 2 days a week. It will involve some travel to Branches, Distribution Centres, suppliers and customers as and when required.

Typically, this role would require a related Degree or MSc, along with experience in an Energy Management role within a consultancy or organisation. However, you may have a background as an Electrical Engineer and moved into a career in this field since.
We are open to industry background; we are looking for someone confident with strong stakeholder management skills with drive, passion and creative thinking to deliver ambitious improvements.
