An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Energy Engineer to join the Energy and Sustainability team at the Airbus Broughton site. If successful, you will join the Facilities Management and Real Estate Department as part of a rapidly expanding team.
Reporting directly to the Head of Energy UK you would utilise your Energy Management and technical expertise to support our Broughton manufacturing site in developing and delivering energy and carbon improvement roadmaps through energy efficiency optimisation and innovation.
You will collaborate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders including suppliers and senior management across the UK and transnationally. As a result a small amount of largely UK travel may be required.
How you will contribute to the team:
Define and implement Energy and CO2 improvement roadmaps
Propose and coordinate delivery of Energy saving projects
Benchmark, investigate and experiment with new technologies and best practices
Manage the Energy Management System according to the Airbus standard
Manage operational activities; utilities management and energy supply delivery points
Support energy reporting and submission requirements to external bodies
Monitor, forecast and report consumption budget, savings and roadmap
About you:
Degree or equivalent in energy/environmental management or related area
Strong experience working in the energy management field
Financial management experience
